Education, Workshops and Events

Education

Public education has been key to El Paso's conservation culture. Students learn conservation tips from Willie, our mascot ambassador, and the public learns about conservation from the many public events, presentations, seminars, workshops and demonstrations.

EPWater's Carlos M. Ramirez TecH2O Water Resources Learning Center offers visitors bilingual information and interactive exhibits to increase awareness of regional water sources in the Chihuahuan Desert. The Center is a museum-quality educational center that has hosted thousands of students over the years for field trip and tours.
