Waterline replacement planned ahead of TxDOT street rehab work
EL PASO – Beginning Tuesday March 31, Mesa Street will be narrowed for southbound traffic near Sun Bowl Drive. The project will last approximately four weeks as El Paso Water replaces an aging water line ahead of the Texas Department of Transportation’s project to rehabilitate Mesa Street.
Lanes will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while crews perform construction work.
This project is part of El Paso Water’s efforts to improve and enhance the reliability of our water systems while taking advantage of TxDOT’s street rehabilitation plans.
