Monica Ontiveros, Chief Human Resources Officer
Ontiveros oversees the strategic and administrative human resources functions. She has over 20 years of human resources experience with the City of El Paso. Before coming to El Paso Water, she served as Administrative & Strategic Initiatives Manager for the El Paso Public Health and Safety Portfolio and played a key leadership role in the absence of executive level management at the Health Department. Ontiveros earned her Master’s degree in Finance/Management from UTEP; she is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM) and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
