Closure of Road in Upper Valley for Waterline Replacement Project

Love Road will be closed to all traffic

EL PASO – As part of an ongoing waterline rehabilitation project, a full closure of Love Road at the Montoya Lateral will begin Monday, Feb. 16 and is expected to last until March 31.  All residential access will be maintained.

Replacement of the waterline and surrounding infrastructure on Love Road requires digging below the Montoya Lateral. The project will improve reliability of water services.

Detour signs will be clearly posted. Drivers are urged to use extra caution in traffic-control zones to ensure the safety of work crews.
