Low water pressure for some Central El Paso customers

Published on March 18, 2026

EL PASO – EPWater crews will conduct planned operations that may result in lower water pressure for some Central El Paso customers on Friday, March 20, beginning at approximately 12 a.m. until 4 a.m. This scheduled work will impact an estimated 600 customers with reduced water pressure. Water service is not expected to be completely shut off, and residents are urged to plan accordingly. The impacted area is shown on the map below.

This planned work is part of the ongoing Waterline Replacement Project - Phase 12B, that has replaced aging waterlines in several parts of Central El Paso. Wastewater services will not be affected.

As a precautionary measure, EPWater will provide two water tankers on-site for affected residents, beginning at 11:00 p.m. until the scheduled work is complete and water pressure returns to normal. The tankers will be located at:

  • Memphis Avenue and Bryron Street
  • Memphis Avenue and Lackland Street
