Two-night full closure of southbound Airway

Northbound Airway Blvd. will have lane closures

EL PASO – EPWater has scheduled nightwork beginning Tuesday, May 27 as part of ongoing water line rehabilitation and pipeline protection projects aimed at improving system reliability. The following closures will be in effect:

• 10 p.m. May 27 through 5 a.m. May 28
• 10 p.m. May 28 through 5 a.m. May 29

During these times, southbound Airway Boulevard will be fully closed from Edgemere to Viscount boulevards. Commercial access will be maintained for businesses along Airway; however, no through traffic will be permitted. In addition, northbound Airway Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from Gateway West to Edgemere Boulevard.

Detour signs will be clearly posted. Drivers are urged to use extra caution in traffic-control zones to ensure the safety of work crews.
