Protecting neighborhoods from flooding is a top priority. Our Stormwater Master Plan identified $650 million in projects to improve drainage and prepare for major rain events.

• New ponds and storage basins are being built to reduce flood risks citywide.
• Drains, inlets, and channels are being repaired and upgraded to move stormwater safely to the Rio Grande.
