EL PASO – Today, EPWater expanded its operation of water distribution sites throughout Northeast and Central El Paso to meet initial demand. Based on low traffic in overnight hours, the utility is announcing new hours of operation for the sites. Beginning Monday, the seven sites will close at midnight and reopen at 5:00 a.m. the following day. Customers should bring their own containers to five of the seven sites. A water tanker will be available to fill containers with drinking water, and a limited supply of bottled water will also be provided. EPWater would like to express its gratitude to Fort Bliss and El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, along with numerous businesses, engineering firms and construction companies that have provided support. Below is a list of the water distribution sites managed by EPWater that will be operational from 5:00 a.m. to midnight:
