Planned water outage to affect some Northeast residents

EL PASO – EPWater will make improvements to the water system, impacting services for some Northeast El Paso customers on Wednesday, May 27. An estimated 200 customers near Cross Street from Deer Avenue to Oryx Circle will have no water service beginning at approximately 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This planned work will replace aging valves in the area and improve water infrastructure in the area. Wastewater services will not be affected and residents are urged to plan ahead. EPWater will provide two water tankers on-site for affected residents, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the scheduled work is complete and water pressure returns to normal. The tankers will be located at:
• Cross St. and Deer Ave.
• Cross St. and Quail Ave.
