Construction underway, expect road closures in Central El Paso

EL PASO – El Paso Water has begun construction on a water and wastewater line rehabilitation
project on Rio Grande Ave, Dallas Steet and Williams Street. Construction is estimated to be
completed by November.

The following traffic closures will be in place:
- Rio Grande Ave. to thru traffic from Lee Street to Laurel Street.
- Dallas St. and Rio Grande Ave. intersection.
- Williams St. north of Rio Grand Ave.

Detour signs will be clearly posted. Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution in work zones
to ensure the safety of work crews. Residential access will be maintained; street parking may be limited
throughout the project.

Wastewater services will not be affected. Minimal water service interruptions are expected, and
customers will be notified in advance.

This project is part of EPWater's ongoing efforts to replace aging infrastructure and maintain a reliable
water and wastewater system for the community.
