Connecting to Water and Wastewater Services

A new installation refers to a new water or wastewater service connection to the municipal water system. This could include installing a service to a vacant lot with no existing services or for additional services to a property.

The permitting process varies based on whether your property is within or outside the El Paso City limits. See the relevant links and attachments to understand the steps to follow.

Sewer Service Connections within the City of El Paso's right-of-way requires a Traffic Control Permit and Paving Cut Permit from the City of El Paso's Streets & Maintenance Department.
